The Story Behind Our Name
The name Linga Longa comes from the song “I Am Going Back Again to Yarrawonga”, written by Corporal Neil McBeath in the trenches in 1918 at the end of the First World War.
The song reflects a deep sense of connection to the Murray region and the town of Yarrawonga. It captures the feeling of returning to a place that holds special meaning — something we aim to recreate through every journey we organise.
For us, Linga Longa represents nostalgia, discovery, and the joy of exploring places that stay with you long after the trip ends.
